The villa's large, naturally light-filled living room with a flat-screen TV, plenty of comfortable white sofas for seating, and a dining area next to it are all located on the pool level. There's also a spacious double bedroom with an attached shower-only bathroom on the pool level.The main villa's upper level has three cozy double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with showers, all decorated in a palette of gentle, natural tones. The entire property has air conditioning and wireless Internet access.Two elevators connect each of the villa's floors. The underlying grounds are spread across multiple terraces that descend to sea level. Set on a Roman grid of tiny alleyways, Sorrento's historic center is today home to pasta eateries and stores offering trinkets with lemon themes. But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for aristocracy, is now a working-men's club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. Then there are traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts, the medieval palaces along Via Pietà, the magnificent courtyard of Palazzo Correale, and artisan workshops producing the same wood intarsia for which the town became famous in the 18th century.Positano seems especially beautiful from a distance.
