In the Area

Immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside with a splendid view of the surrounding hills, this magnificent eight bedroom farmhouse a stone's throw from Montalcino, famous for the production of its Brunello red wine, one of the most appreciated Italian wines in the world, is ideally located ideal for trips to the most beautiful villages in Tuscany.

Grosseto with its Medici walls of the sixteenth century, now transformed into gardens perfect for a pleasant walk, form a hexagon that encloses the entire historic center of the city.

Siena with its ancient red brick buildings, the main square in the shape of a scallop, Piazza del Campo and the Piazza del Duomo, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it a must for anyone traveling to Tuscany. Indeed an open-air museum celebrating Gothic, Siena boasts centuries-old monuments that have preserved both their medieval forms and their exceptional art collections, offering plenty to admire.

San Gimignano, one of the best preserved medieval villages in Italy. From afar, San Gimignano looks like the city of a Renaissance painting: a circle of 13th-century walls enclosing tall, rickety stone towers. Its towers make it instantly recognizable, but the art treasures enclosed within its walls are just as remarkable.

In less than two hours by car you can reach Volterra, one of the most spectacular hill towns in Tuscany. Despite its many attractions, Volterra sees fewer tourists than other Tuscan towns, so you can expect to share its winding stone streets with the locals and explore its ancient sites without the crowds. Founded by the Etruscans and surrounded by medieval walls, Volterra has a remarkable historic center full of fascinating Roman ruins, medieval buildings and alabaster workshops.

In two hours by car you can easily reach Florence, an art treasure with a surprising contemporary atmosphere. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, testimony of its centuries of civilization, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside boulevards at sunset, or get lost in the myriad streets of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow streets of San Niccolò, where it seems to be finished in another time along its centuries-old walls.
