In the heart of the green Umbrian countryside about 20 minutes drive north of Perugia, in a splendid position, Villa Castagno, one of the villas of a large estate, offers an exclusive stay in a traditional luxury stone farmhouse furnished with an infinite pool and 360 degree views of the surrounding valleys.

This three-bedroom villa has of two king size double bedrooms each with a large en-suite bathroom, a king-size bedroom with canopy bed and large en-suite bathroom; a fully equipped kitchen completes with dishwasher, oven, two refrigerators and microwave; a spacious laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board; a large LCD TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, high speed Wi-Fi; large garden and swimming pool. The whole villa is equipped with air conditioning.

For golf enthusiasts, one of the most spectacular and challenging golf courses in Italy, the eighteen holes of Antognolla, is just a few minutes away by car

In the Area

Just 20 minutes by car from the estate, the Etruscan city of Perugia, the administrative and cultural capital of the Umbria Region. The historic center of Perugia in its pedestrianized historic center offers excellent evidence of architecture, museums, churches, palaces, medieval towers.
The renowned Umbria Jazz festival (July), and the Eurochocolate Festival (October) are major annual events.

The medieval city of Gubbio is an enchanting place that stretches on a hill and boasts some of the most impressive architecture in the entire region, including the splendid Palazzo Ducale, Piazza Grande, the Palazzo dei Consoli complex and the second largest Roman amphitheater still existing.

The patron saint of Gubbio, Sant'Ubaldo, is a particularly important figure who every year in May is celebrated at the 'Corsa dei Ceri' a frenetic hill race among the strongest of the different districts of the country carrying huge wooden candles or candles. This ancient festival is famous throughout the country and is really worth a visit.

Assisi - the homeland of the Italian national saint - Francis of Assisi - Assisi is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Do not miss a visit to the Basilica, the most important monument in Assisi, dedicated to him and containing works dedicated to the saint by artists such as Giotto, Cimabue, Andrea da Bologna and Simone Martini; but Assisi is also an architectural marvel with its suggestive medieval streets and the castle on top of the hill.
