VILLA BUTTERFLY

Nestled amidst the gently sloping hills close to Lucca, Villa Butterfly is a charming and opulent Tuscan hideaway that exudes a great flair without being overpowering. In the early 1800s, it was first a lodge where hunters would hunt wild boar. Later, it was developed into a tiny settlement for the servants of Count Cosimo Bernardini's estate.

A contemporary renovation brought out the best features of the interior courtyards, the gently lighted ancient walls, and the evocative quiet.
A formal dining room, a casual dining kitchen, a music room with a fireplace, a drawing room with a TV and fireplace, a full-sized billiard room and card room, and a fully furnished gym are all located inside. As guests are enveloped in an aristocratic milieu of weeping willows, fountains, and formal gardens, a truly forgotten time seems to be reigning. 
Villa Butterfly is the ideal place to host a get-together with loved ones. Its beauty, peace, and coziness will make it difficult for you to leave.

The villa's main features include 12 uniquely designed double bedrooms, four of which can have en suite Jacuzzi baths; the remaining four can be queen or twin beds. Formal living room with fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, video library, and views over the peschiera. Banquet hall, card and billiard room, domed music room, library, drawing room, and wine cellar. Each room has a separately regulated air conditioning and heating system. There are also multiple outside dining areas.
The fully furnished Tuscan-style kitchen includes a barbecue, an ancient wood-burning oven, a surveillance system, a centralized music system, fax and computer facilities, broadband internet access, and a work area with weight and cardiovascular equipment. The first floor guest area has wireless internet access.
The swimming pool is floodlit and has steps and a stepladder access (8 m wide by 16 m long, with depths ranging from 1-2 meters). The garden is an Italian style garden spanning 2,000 square meters. Each room has a phone line.

The villa rental includes heating/air-conditioning, power, water, gas, and linen change on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Housekeeper provides maid service one day per week, gardener, pool attendant, and English-speaking concierge.
