VILLA CORBARA

Situated on a hill 380 meters above sea level, the charming home Villa Corbara is part of a magnificent wine estate which is renowned for its excellent wine. Our guests can experience all of the exquisite and refined materials and furnishings that were used in the property's unique construction.

With its breathtaking panoramic view of undulating hills and its serene, private setting, this property will provide you with a vacation in perfect harmony with the natural world. We are pleased to provide five-star service and a personnel with extensive international expertise.

The residence's two stories total 560 square meters. A spacious sitting room with an elegant 1600s fireplace, a huge oval dining table, a guest bathroom, and a fully functional professional kitchen are all located on the ground level. Crystal glasses, silver cutlery, and exquisite table linens adorn the oval dining room table.

Breakfast, dinner and lunch are prepared and served by the crew every day. You can eat in the dining room, outside on the portico, or in the seclusion of your rooms. We'll prepare the meal based on what's in season.
A double bedroom with a handicap accessible bathroom is also located on the first level.

There's a grand portico outside with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. You can eat dinner or breakfast under the portico.
Two spacious Suites with king-size beds and two Junior Suites with two double beds each are located on the top floor. Large private bathrooms with bathtubs and separate shower cubicles are features of every suite.

There are lovely gardens all around the residence, offering views in every direction. On the north side of the gardens is a sizable swimming pool that measures 14 meters by 7 meters (45 feet by 22 and a half feet). The ultimate experience for unwinding is a 4 m x 2 m ( 12,8'x 6,4') Jacuzzi by the pool.

Villa Corbara is happy to provide its guests with a master class in wine in the distinctive setting of Decugnano dei Barbi Estate, a land rich in over eight centuries of history, either in the morning or in the afternoon on any given day of the chosen week. Following your tour of the winery's modern section and a leisurely stroll through the vines, you will have a visit to the  Etruscan grottos, where the red wine is aged in French oak barrels and the "spumante" wine is prepared using the Methode Champenoise.

The top three wines made will be tasted by guests at the medieval chapel of Saint Mary of Decugnano, which overlooks the valley and distant Orvieto: the local specialties matched with "Spumante," "Il" Decugnano white (reserve), and "Il" Decugnano red (reserve) sparkling wines.

Three analyses of wine will provide a general idea of how wine should be evaluated: visual, olfactory, and taste. Since every one of our trips is unique and customized, you can be sure that your wine tasting experience will leave you with unforgettable memories.
